The origins of the “Salumificio Franco Verona” date back to before the 1950s, when Franco Verona, founder of the historic brand, started his own production activity in Torrebelvicino, a town geographically located in the heart of the Alto Vicentino, with pig slaughter and production of typical sausages, with particular dedication to “Sopressa” and “Salame”, products that have always been part of the Venetian tradition.

The entrepreneurial initiative soon opened up spaces and created good opportunities, so much so that the company, which started as a small artisan business, gradually transformed and grew steadily over time, taking on industrial characteristics, precisely because of the spirit of continuous innovation of its founder.

However, at Salumificio Franco Verona, technological progress and continuous improvement research do not take away space from tradition, maintaining the quality and genuineness requirements of its products unchanged, obtained, today as then, with expertly and rigorously selected meats, coming from pigs born and raised exclusively on the national territory, while the processing is carried out in modern plants that guarantee, in addition to high performance, maximum hygiene and food safety, all in compliance with ancient knowledge and that originality that characterizes the products of the Alto Vicentina delicatessen.

In the period between 1980 - 1985 these ingredients, combined with further important structural investments, as well as the entry of the children into the company, have allowed it to consistently expand its market, moving from a predominantly regional commercial scope to important and significant extensions of an interregional and national nature. An important development that over the following years has generated considerable satisfaction following the demand and the inclusion of its products in the large-scale distribution chain, today counting, strong in its professionalism acquired in the sector, consolidated commercial relationships with some of the main Italian food distribution companies.
